Well Child Visit

American Academy of Pediatrics recommends children should be seen by their regular physician at least once a year after the age of 5.  During well child examinations the physcian will check your child’s vitals signs, height, weight, blood pressure, and oxygenation.  This will help the doctor confirm that your child is growing appropriately.  Each visit is also a chance to check that your child is Up to date on all immunizations (please see tab for immunizations).  Blood work and urine specimens might be required at the visit.  Vision and hearing screening is also recommended to be done at every annual visit.
